The Enemy's Testament by Etel Adnan Text written in Kufic calligraphy from Kairwan by Rachid Kuraïchi, and in Naskhi calligraphy by Hassan Masmoudy. Printed by Julio Soto in Torrejón de Ardoz in Madrid in May 1982. The etchings contained in this portfolio have been realized from copperplates created by Rachid Kurïchi between July and November 1981, in La Marsa,Tunisia, and have been printed by Denis Long on Velin d'Arches in Madrid between March and April 1982. The edition is presented in a box made in Madrid by Lopez Valencia. Edition of 62 is numbered as follows: Fifty numbered from 1 to 50. Ten artist's books numbered in Roman numerals," e.a" from I to X, reserved for the artist and the publisher. Two sets of Exhibitions proofs, numbered , "e.e" from 1 to 2. All of the etchings in the present edition have been numbered and signed by the artist.
Editions Kaldeway printed in the Tower of Poestenkill New York in May 2010. 9 De Luxe copies with gold stamping in a leather chemise and a manuscript page by Etel Adnan. Bound by Thomas Zwang. 30 regular copies with silver stumping in a linen cover. The Book of the Sea in arabic composed in Beirut around 1951, is handwritten by Etel Adnan. Excerpts from the new poem " Sea " appears as a first edition.
